How it Works
POOL MATE is simply connected to the skimmer box via the
standard hose fitting and remains stationary on the bottom
of the pool when in use.
POOL MATE ensures that water can flow freely to the
filtration system without being hampered by macro debris.
Because POOL MATE works from the bottom of the pool,
there’s no risk of damage to the filtration system if the
water level drops below the skimmer box.
POOL MATE prevents the ingress of floating litter such as
plastic bags.
Leaf and other macro-debris remains harmless and inert at
the bottom of the pool until you return, when it is a
simple task to vacuum it out, leaving the water clear,
clean and ready for immediate use.
Like No Other
The fact is that it is not dead leaves or litter (‘MACRO
debris’) which cause your pool to turn green while you are
away. Pools turn green because the water stops flowing
through the filtration systems (usually caused by the
skimmer box being crammed full of leaves etc).
When the water flow is reduced the filtration system cannot
work properly and therefore bacteria and algae (‘MICRO
debris’) can flourish and multiply. And you come home to a
murky swamp.
