Step One :: Connect the POOL MATE
Connect your standard pool hose to the top of the POOL MATE.
The POOL MATE is made to receive the thread on the hose so there's absolutely no chance of the hose being dislodged.

Step Two :: Connect to the Skimmer
Attach the other end of the hose to the skimmer mechanism.
This will require a standard vacuum plate for your skimmer.
Note : owners should check the integrity of the hose & vacuum plate seal; also consider a plate lock to ensure a solid seal should water level fall.

Step Three :: get in the Pool
Lower the POOL MATE into the water. The air vents in the top will allow it sink to the bottom without trapping an air-lock in the dome.
When lowering into the water, try to place it on a level surface (not too close to the edge where it may topple over).

Step Four :: enjoy your Holiday!
That's it!
Leave your pump & filter on the usual timing function & let the POOL MATE draw water from the bottom of the pool.
